What is FSC®?
Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is a global, non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests through standard setting, certification and labelling of paper and wood products. One of the programs FSC® has developed is on Chain of Custody (CoC) by which only companies who have the FSC® CoC certification are allowed to use FSC® trademarks and labels to promote their products. FSC® is therefore a link between the FSC® certified forests or responsible and legal source and the FSC® certified product.
