Make a Tree Less Paper
Ever wondered how the paper in carton boxes is made? Where the boxes go after you dispose it? Here’s a brief look.
Used paper products go to dumpsites before they get delivered to junk shops where they are segregated. From here, only essential waste paper needed for recycling would go to UPPC’s baling stations that are strategically located throughout the country. Baling stations sort out and choose from the recovered paper, form them into blocks that can be stacked, and then deliver them to our paper mill.
These paper blocks (baled old corrugated carton) will undergo several processes in our paper machines to form into paper rolls. Finished products are delivered to corrugators (box plants) for further processing. Box plants will deliver the boxes to end users who can use it as a protective packaging during transportation or other packaging-related application.
